R&D Physicist (Biomaterials)
4πCoat Technologies is currently seeking a talented, highly motivated individual to join our R&D team, working on surface engineering of biomaterials applied to medical implants.
The candidate will investigate various plasma- and laser-assisted surface modifications techniques and coatings to impart new or improved functionalities to various medical implants. The candidate will also work in collaboration with our University partners, with responsibility to assist and monitor the progress of our joint projects, as well as provide specific samples, whenever required, partcipate in their analysis and provide internal reports.
Qualified candidates are expected to have MSc or PhD degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, Materials Science or from arelevant field with a background in biomaterials or a combination of similar relevant education and experience.
Those with strong technical problem solving skills and research experience, particularly within multi-disciplinary teams are encouraged to apply. Candidates eligible to benefit from Mitacs program are also encouraged to apply.
All qualified candidates, with legal permit to work in Canada, will be considered and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.
